1:00pm-4:00pm  - Art Demonstration: 
Local artist
Janet O’Connell demonstrates her line drawings of the Amistad and shows other works. Free

12:30 pm   -  “Loyalities” -   St. Paul 's Church, Birchtown Free will donation

2:00-4:00pm   Amistad Open to Public   

7:00 pm   -  Sierra Leone Harbour & Freetown - St. Paul 's Church, Birchtown - Presentation by Dan Colin, Curator, Marine History (tentative) call 875-1310 for details


SATURDAY  - AUGUST 15


Water Taxi on Brown-Eyed Girl: Thursday: Leaves Shelburne at 5:30pm , returns from Birchtown at 9:00pm . Saturday: Leaves Shelburne 9 & 11am , 1, 3, 5, & 7:00pm . Leaves Birchtown 10am, 12, 2,4,6,8 &10pm. Round trip to Birchtown Bay is $25.00. 
Water Taxi to Birchtown all day


8:00-11:00am    -   Birchtown Breakfast @ Community Hall - $6.00

9:00am  - Shelburne-to-Birchtown

March to Birchtown from Amistad Admission $10.00 (includes water taxi back to Shelburne)

3:00 pm   - Drumming Circle (bring your Djembe) Birchtown  - Free

4:00-7:00pm   - Birchtown Dinner - Community Hall -  $12.00/adult  $6.00/child

7:00-10:00 pm    Gospel Festival

St. Paul’s Church, Birchtown  featuring The Williams Sisters and Rhythm & Good News. $15.00 (tickets at Whirligig & at door)
