Roseway Beach and Round Bay Beach
Roseway, (15 minutes from Shelburne) A spectacular sandy beach on the ocean. Visitors and locals alike come here to jump waves and swim in the Atlantic Ocean. It is a perfect spot to spend the day.

The Islands Provincial Park
Just across the harbour from the historic town of Shelburne, The Islands Provincial Park offers a restful stop on your trip around the South Shore. Bounded by Shelburne Harbour, it offers visitors a maritime camping experience. Facilities and Services

The Islands Provincial Park is open from mid-May until early September and offers a 70-site campground, water outlets, two picnic areas, an unsupervised beach, boat launch, and trailer dump station.

Villagedale, 6 km south of Hwy 103, Exit 29. (Barrington), features a 2.5 km white sand beach. At low tide there are wide sand flats which warm the water when the tide comes back in. Spectacular sand dune system backs the beach area. There are change facilities and picnic tables.

Lockeport. White sand, protected status, ocean front cottages, assorted services at Beach Centre: parking, washrooms, showers, phone, water, changing rooms, canteen, craft shop, Visitor Information Centre.

Welkum Park
Welshtown, (10 minutes from Shelburne). A small beach on Welshtown Lake, this is the prime spot to come on hot days. Pack a picnic to eat on picnic tables or in one of the huts. There is plenty of parking as well as changing rooms and outdoor washroom facilities.

Louis Head Beach
White sand, bird watching, public access, inquire at Visitor Information Bureau. 

Sandy Point Light Beach
Sand at low tide, lighthouse, view of Shelburne Harbour. 

The Hawk Beach
Cape Sable Island. White sand, 1500 years old, drowned forest, protected status, bird watching.
