Lobster
Festival Draw – a perfect fundraising opportunity
To help offset some of the
costs for promoting the Festival, the Lobster Festival
Committee will be having 8 draws for a total of 80 pounds of
lobsters. Tickets will be sold until June 1.
At the Lobster Festival
official opening ceremonies on June 4, eight draws will be
made - each for 10 pounds of lobster. Local fishermen and
buyers donate some of the lobsters for the draws.
A special THANK YOU to them for their support of the
Festival.
The tickets sales also
provide volunteers in the County with an opportunity to
raise money for their own use. Any group that sells tickets
keeps half of their sales for their group. Both the Lobster
Festival Committee and the group selling benefit.

distribution to groups interested in fundraising from each
of the Recreation Offices in
Shelburne
